Here is what you need to know as we head into week 2.

The Every Student Succeeds act (ESSA) requires school districts to provide parents with an annual state, district, and school status report. The Florida Department of Education uses data to produce readily accessible school and district report cards, providing transparent information to all stakeholders. The district report card specifically reports on progress toward transition students from one level to the next and reports graduation data. The reports can be accessed at https://edudata.fldoe.org/index.html. Families are encouraged to review this report. We are proud of the work we do at Sims Middle School.

We hope to see all students on Monday, August 11! School starts at 7:15 a.m. Please enjoy this week's edition of Sims Scoop.

Sims Families: We wanted to share information you may need to know as we head back to school on August 11. If you need more information, check out our website at www.sms.santarosaschoools.org.
